XI Municipal Social Assistance Conference of Ponta Grossa/PR: an assessment of the materialization of its deliberations

Abstract

This research aims to carry out an evaluation of the materialization of the deliberations of the XI Social Assistance Conference of the Municipality of Ponta Grossa, held in 2017, which were incorporated into the Municipal Social Assistance Plan (PMAS) 2018-2021. It is a qualitative, exploratory research, which was methodologically developed through the following instruments: bibliographical and documentary research and semi-structured interviews with five professionals from the technical team of the Municipal Social Assistance Foundation (FASPG), responsible for forwarding the resolutions of the XI Conference. The article is composed of two sections entitled: Federal Constitution of 1988 and advances in the question of social participation in the Social Assistance Policy and Evaluation of the materialization of the deliberations of the XI Conference of Social Assistance of the Municipality of Ponta Grossa/PR. The results indicate, in general, as positive the referral given to the deliberations and the process of their materialization.
