Pandemia e quilombos: decisões sobre o “deixar viver e deixar morrer”

Abstract

O objetivo do texto é discutir sobre o modo como os quilombos têm se organizado a fim de resistir à necropolítica em tempos de COVID-19. Para isso, realizaram-se entrevistas com líderes da Confederação Nacional de Articulação das Comunidades Negras Quilombolas (CONAQ) e quilombolas de diferentes regiões mineiras. Os resultados revelam uma atuação estatal marcada pelo racismo e pela violação de direitos, diante do que essa população desenvolve estratégias de resistência tanto de nível macro quanto micropolítico.
