Abstract

The goal of this article is to analyse the history and the culture of the political model of the State Nation and its aplication in Latin America, especially in Peru. How to take the reality of multiculturalism in our societies, in different domains such as education and management of the biodiversity and cultural diversity is the question that we try to respond. By using the intercultural perspective, we will try to answer some questions that challenge the monocultural vision of governamental policies, proposals to the refoundation of the State that are capable of taking the ecological, social, political and cultural reality of our continent.

Key words: State-Nation, cultural diversity, multicultirality, cross-cultural.
